About
Meet 6IXVI
Engineer, producer and artist: the person behind 6 Figure Music.
Formerly Big 6ix, 6IXVI has been recording, mixing and mastering London rap since 2009. He was in the room for Stormzy's Dreamers Disease, "Know Me From" and "Shut Up"; mixed and mastered Skepta's "Shutdown", Unknown T's "Homerton B", C. Biz's "The Game Is Mine" and "Money March", and Nines's "Can't Blame Me" and "Yay"; and mixed and mastered Giggs's albums Big Bad… and Now Or Never.
He's an artist too. Releasing his own music on 6 Figure Music ("Fake Love" has over 1.8 million streams on Spotify, premiered by Complex and reviewed by GUAP) means he hears records the way artists do. In 2019 he signed a publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing (UMPG). Today he works from his studio in north London (N19) and in studios across the city, with his own chain and his own ears.
Every release carries the line: "Recorded / Mixed / Mastered by 6ixvi of 6 Figure Music."
